We are seeking a Director of Marketing who will establish our marketing function—overseeing an external agency for top-of-funnel awareness, a PR agency, and personally driving all other aspects of the buyer’s journey (Consideration, Decision, Retention, Advocacy). This individual must be highly proficient in product marketing, content creation, and have deep knowledge of the life sciences sector - with Clinical Development a big plus.
Position Overview
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for implementing and supporting the development of QuantHealth’s marketing strategy and executing on it across multiple channels and buyer journey stages. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic vision with the ability to produce amazing product marketing materials and content. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Leadership to drive measurable impact on brand visibility, lead generation, pipeline progression, and customer advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agency Oversight (Awareness Stage)
- Manage the external agency focused on high-level brand awareness (e.g., PR, conferences, thought leadership).
- Ensure alignment between agency activities and QuantHealth’s overall marketing strategy.
- Monitor performance metrics (website traffic, media mentions, share of voice) and optimize awareness initiatives in the life sciences market.
2. Product Marketing & Content Creation
- Develop and maintain product positioning, messaging, and differentiation frameworks that resonate with key life sciences audiences (sponsors, CROs, etc.).
- Write and produce compelling content—white papers, solution briefs, case studies, eBooks, webinars—that demonstrate QuantHealth’s expertise in clinical development and AI.
- Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to gather technical insights, translate them into clear benefits, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Management of corporate website
- Dissemination of marketing messages through various channels, including social media
- Prioritizing, planning and executing participation in industry conferences
- Planning and executing company's annual summit for customers and prospective customers
3. Consideration & Decision Stages

- Provide Sales with high-impact enablement assets, including battle cards, product demos, ROI calculators, and regulatory compliance checklists.
- Organize webinars, virtual events, and workshops in partnership with Product and Sales to showcase specific use cases and deepen prospect understanding.
4. Retention & Advocacy Programs
- Collaborate with Customer Success to develop onboarding materials, user guides, and training resources that drive product adoption and satisfaction.
- Implement customer advocacy initiatives such as user forums, referral programs, and VIP feature previews that promote loyalty and organic growth.
- Gather and publicize client success stories through testimonials, case studies, and joint speaking opportunities at industry events.
5. Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Define and monitor key marketing KPIs (pipeline contribution, MQL to SQL conversion, content engagement, retention rates) to track performance and adjust strategies.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align marketing objectives with business goals, and communicate progress, successes, and insights on a regular basis.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience with a strong emphasis on product marketing and content creation in the life sciences enterprise software domain.
- Deep knowledge of the clinical development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to write and produce clear, compelling content for executive-level audiences in life sciences.
- Proven success in managing external marketing agencies, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Leadership.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics platforms to measure and optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to roll up sleeves and tackle challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.
