The Role
We are seeking a visionary Director of Marketing with deep expertise in SaaS, e-commerce, and B2B pipeline development to lead our marketing strategy and execution. This is a pivotal role where you'll drive demand generation, build brand awareness, and contribute to the growth of our business by scaling revenue and building a predictable, high-quality pipeline for our sales team and online sales.
Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy
  • Craft and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on growth, acquisition, and retention.
  • Define brand positioning and messaging to resonate with our ideal customers profiles
  1. Pipeline Development & Demand Generation
  • Drive demand generation campaigns and programs that deliver measurable pipeline growth for the sales team (ideally in a $5-15 million company; not the leader in the space)
  • Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital (high emphasis on SEO/SEM), content marketing, events, webinars, more
  • Implement and scale account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting key customer segments.
  • Develop partner marketing channel globally in conjunction with Channel team.
  1. e-Commerce Marketing
  • Drive the overall e-commerce marketing strategy to grow online sales 50% YoY
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention strategies, including paid media, email, and organic campaigns.
  • Partner with brand marketing to align strategies and drive results.
  1. Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, including demand generation, content, and digital marketing.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  1. Performance Metrics & Analytics
  • Own marketing KPIs such as website traffic, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, and CAC.
  • Analyze internal and external data to identify trends, measure performance, and optimize strategies
  • Leverage analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize budgets, and improve ROI.
  1. Collaboration & Partnerships
  • Partner closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to align marketing strategies with online and direct sales business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to amplify marketing initiatives.
  1. Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, ensuring successful positioning and adoption in the market.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the SaaS and e-commerce space.


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should bring:

  • The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategy and execution to the table and is obsessed with data
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of leadership in SaaS, e-commerce, or technology companies.
  • Deep expertise in pipeline development and demand generation, including ABM, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and marketing automation tools
  • Strong understanding of small business customers and their unique needs in the e-commerce space.
  • You are a subject matter expert in paid and organic search marketing (particularly Google AdWords) for online sales.
  • Experience with new solutions in an established market (1-2 years in the field)
  • Strong plus if you have in-housed an e-commerce marketing function in a company that also drive B2B pipeline generation for Sales on same or similar products
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience building and scaling marketing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong focus on analytics, KPIs, and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $158,000.00 - $240,000.00 USD in on target earnings.
