The person in this role will report to the CEO and will be instrumental in shaping our narrative and driving thought leadership region-by-region while developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies to drive pipeline growth and ARR.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies and awareness campaigns for new markets.
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that effectively communicates our value proposition to target audiences, adapting to each new territory as we launch, network, and build momentum.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including email marketing, content marketing, events, social media, and more.
  • Together with our client-facing teams, develop and execute an account-based marketing (ABM) strategy that targets high-value prospects in alignment with pipeline generation goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, create compelling narratives for prospects and clients, and establish our point of view as a thought leader.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years of experience taking SaaS products to market, capable of running and leading discrete functions alone or with direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques, with a focus on product marketing, product positioning, messaging, and segmentation.
  • Strong experience in demand generation, events, and account-based marketing principles and techniques, with a focus on scaling programs in support of growth goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in analyzing data and drawing actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimize marketing operations processes to improve efficiency and visibility across the funnel.
  • Passion for technology innovation, with a desire to make a meaningful impact in public education.
  • You’re willing to travel ~25% to attend industry events and conferences and for in-person time in our Oakland headquarters.

Preferred qualifications

  • Startup experience; you’re a self-starter with bias for action and are comfortable operating semi-autonomously.
  • Experience creating and branding new market segments or product categories.
  • Bonus points if you have worked with public organizations, government, K12, higher education, and/or SLED.

What We Do

We help school district administrators operate efficiently and gain insight into their most critical school business processes.

Still today, most school districts have hundreds of mission critical processes that run on paper, making visibility and improvement near impossible. We transform paperwork from a daily stumbling block to a strategic tool. This makes it possible to hire the right teachers faster, make sure students have a way to get to school, ensure teachers get reimbursed and paid on time, and a lot more.

We are powering the future of school district operations by helping district administrators drive the systemic change needed to improve productivity, accountability and equity.
