Job Description
In this role, the Director will partner with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to create internal communication and manage a multitude of competing priorities. The director must lead and manage the teams that have communication needs as well as the delivery of the critical communication to our enterprise. This person must exhibit sophisitication in their communication delivery while able to balance a high level of sensitive information in a timely manner.

How you can make a difference
- Collaborate with BU executives, communications, and marketing on the needs for internal communications.
- Advise and supervise what announcements are shared, at what cadence and to whom.
- Manage communications requests via the various channels, including the online intake form, email and more.
- Manage a webinar from the planning to excecution stage including the speaker presentation management, logistics, and more.
- Develop an overall communications cadence that best fits the needs of our teams in practices.
- Develop the weekly e-newsletter to best showcase the company news.
- Develop daily intranet content to provide timely updates to the organization.
- Manage and build new relationships with our key stakeholders.
- Support and coordinate the internal communications plans and campaigns with partnership with the communications leads.
- Manage visibility of key internal communications updates to key stakeholders and provide monthly key messages to cascade to all departments.
Skills for success
- Strong writing skills and an interest in working with executives.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills to best represent the marketing team.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiencies in Sharepoint, Canva, Adobe, Smartsheet are beneficial.
Experience to drive change
- Approximately 8-12 years of communications experience, preferably in healthcare or at a fast-growing company.
- Bachelors degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excel at writing and multi-tasking.
- Some travel required.
This is an exempt or non-exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $129,500 - $160,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
