Job Description
The purpose of this job is to oversee all of the company’s income tax matters including including federal and state income tax return preparation and review, tax notice and audit management.
- Oversee, lead, and set priorities for the tax team
- Select, coach, train, and develop direct reports, to include appraising job performance and conducting performance reviews
- Serve as subject matter expert in income tax matters; research projects on taxability, answer internal and external tax questions, and resolve important tax issues
- Perform tax return reviews
- Manage tax audit and other tax associated projects
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in accounting, business, JD, or equivalent professional degree required
- Minimum seven years’ multistate tax experience
- Minimum five years’ supervisory experience required
- Specialized Knowledge
- Law license or Certified Public Accountant
- Intermediate Microsoft Office
