The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Business Management (BM) will play a critical role in advancing the financial strategy of the company. This role involves leading the FP&A & BM team, providing financial insights, developing forecasts, and advising senior management on financial decisions. The successful candidate will have robust analytical skills, exemplary leadership capabilities, and a deep comprehension of financial planning and analysis processes.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning:

Lead the development of the annual budget, quarterly business reviews, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

Collaborate with senior management to align financial planning with the company’s overarching goals.

Identify key business drivers and integrate them into robust financial models.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:

Provide timely and precise financial analysis and reporting to empower informed decision-making.

Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and analyze variances.
-
Develop and maintain financial models to support various business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
Leadership:
-
Lead and mentor the FP&A & BM team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Ensure continuous development and training of team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Coordinate with other finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and performance of the FP&A & BM function.

Leverage technology and tools to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Risk Management:

Assess financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.

Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
JM&A Business Partnering:

Serve as a key business partner to the JMA sales leadership team, zone VPs and various sales support departments, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Tasked with zone level budgets and forecasts.

Provides insights and recommendations on revenue growth and expense management.

Be the strategic financial advisor on the financial levers and external factors to positively impact business operations.

Support operational leaders with financial guidance and analysis to improve business performance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Well-developed analytical and financial modeling skills

Impressive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

Proficiency in financial software and tools (ex. Excel, ERP systems, BI tools)

Proven ability to lead and develop a team

Deep business acumen and strategic thinking skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
