About the Team

Workday's Digital Sales team sells the company’s products to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts. May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. May be responsible for diverse, complex territories and/or products. This role is overlay to the field sales force, typically supporting the initiatives of the field sales organization and carrying an individual or team quota that is overlayed with the field. May act as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, and/or products. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. Focuses on growing an existing installed base of customers. Minimal business travel or work outside office required.

About the Role

As a Director of Digital Sales, you will use your extensive sales and leadership experience to lead, coach and mentor a team of Digital Sales Managers and Account Executives selling Workday Solutions to Workday's customer base.
Role & Responsibilities:

  • As a Director of Digital Sales, you will lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and a motivated people who want to be part of one of the most disruptive cloud companies on the planet.
  • You will be a key sales leader on the team focused on driving add-on business for Workday.
  • Your team will manage complex sales cycles through orchestrating internal teams of customer base AEs, pre-sales, value management, sales development, marketing and sales support.
  • You will implement value-selling processes alongside a wealth of knowledge of Workday’s products and portfolio.
  • You will coach, lead and mentor managers and Digital Account Executives early in their sales careers, to employ best practices, manage operational processes and drive excellence across the Digital Sales business.

About You

Experience / Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales and leadership
  • Experience as a leader in a team selling environment
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize organizational output
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelors degree preferred

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $141,600 USD - $212,400 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $134,500 USD - $233,600 USD
