Job Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Direct Sales, the position will be responsible for designing and executing Rapidscale's nation-wide Cox Business go-to-market, including seller recruitment, enablement, and funnel expansion within RapidScale's CB channel ecosystem. You will lead a team of Regional Partner Managers, who are focused on amplifying brand awareness along with the company's value proposition while identifying and nurturing CB partners capable of selling managed IT and cloud technologies. This assignment is a quota bearing position with the responsibility to generate desired results.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
- Direct responsibility for national channel partner relationship management
- Work directly with Regional Partner Managers on establishing annual sales targets and go-to-market with CB markets. Will work with the team to measure success and adjust as necessary.
- Effectively team and collaborate with channel sales leader and field reps to drive unified sales outcomes.
- The team will be responsible for ensuring proper field alignment and engagement with top-selling partners and their key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a vibrant CB ecosystem that will generate consistent sales funnel and sales results. Includes the creation and management of a partner heatmap to help prioritize sales energy and appropriate engagement level.
- Establish mutual success metrics with top partners, leveraging sales tools and strategies to optimize the execution of to go-to-market plans.
- While leveraging internal resources will take lead on partner engagement, trainings, co-marketing, and product awareness.
- Team with marketing on establishing partner directed MDF budget(s) and measure ROI.
- Ensure that we have appropriate messaging and material for partner training that articulate value proposition, business impact and product education.
- Consistently manage, track measure and pressure test performance metrics, including defined KPIs and MBOs. i.e....partner engagements, trainings, QBRs, deal flow
- Build and Maintain process to best qualify and distribute sales opportunities to within channel sales team.
Secondary Duties & Expectations
- Regularly attend CB partner events. .
- Establish alignment with key channel stakeholders and executives.
- Provide sales support as needed to achieve channel sales results.
- Ability to travel up to 50% (corporate, regional/ national partner events, etc...)
Education & Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field
- 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
- Proven track record of Top Performing sales success
Other Valued Attributes:
- Proven track record of top performing within a complex sales environment
- Experience in both direct and indirect sales models
- Practical knowledge of IT landscape and technologies; including Public/ Private Cloud (MS Azure, AWS, Google GCP), Disaster Recovery/ Data Backup, Cyber Security, SDWAN, Microsoft 365, Vmware

USD 129,500.00 - 194,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $129,500.00 - $194,300.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $100,000.00.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
