About this Role

We are looking for a Director, Consumer Sales who will drive up our conversion rates through managing our Philippines-based sales team. Over the years, this team has been an important driver of our lead conversion strategy. We’ve found that most people embarking on their immigration journey are desperate to talk to someone who can help them sort through their priorities and goals so they can make progress on their application.

The team is made up of an Inbound Sales and Service team, who are responsible for handling all of our inbound queries from potential customers, as well as an Outbound Sales team, who are responsible for proactive outreach to leads.  Both teams help our leads determine the best visa/green card for themselves, ultimately driving them to become a Boundless customer. The role is all about how we deploy this team in the pre-pay customer journey to best meet the potential customer’s needs so that when they have decided which visa/green card is best for them, they’re choosing Boundless as the best provider to help them apply. 

The goal of our Director, Consumer Sales is to help us 1) have more conversations with our leads and 2) drive up our conversion rate from those conversations. 

About You 

You are an experienced growth leader who is familiar with sales and conversion strategies in B2C environments. You have ample leadership and management experience and you’ve led large customer facing teams in the past. You are familiar with the various growth channels needed to drive meaningful interactions with leads and how those channels strategically work together. You are excited to travel to the Philippines quarterly to stay in close contact with your leaders on the ground and collaborate with our other customer-facing operations in the Philippines. You are extremely data-savvy and have a strong instinct for what data matters most to drive outcomes. You are comfortable experimenting and taking big bets on growth. 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead our Consumer Sales operation, managing managers and senior managers based in the Philippines
  • Become deeply familiar with our customers and site visitors so you are intimately acquainted with their challenges and priorities 
  • Improve our current sales operation and conversion funnel, finding opportunities to optimize and automate current processes and SOPs
  • Strategize and experiment around big bets on new conversion channels and new models that can drive step-function change 
  • Fly to the Philippines 3-4 times per year to stay in close contact with your leaders on the ground, shadow your teams work, and collaborate with leaders of other customer-facing teams in our Cebu office 
  • Launch new offices and sales operations as we prioritize language-localization in the next 1-2 years 
  • Work very closely with our marketing team, who are driving the traffic leads your team, to create a tight feedback loop around the personas and quality of our leads 
  • Partner with the marketing team, who owns automated outreach campaigns, to build a conversion strategy together

About you

  • 5+ years of experience in B2C inside sales/telemarketing specifically targeting U.S. customers.
  • At least 3 + years of proven experience in managing remote sales teams focused on nurturing and converting marketing-driven leads. Strong ability to strategize and implement effective outreach using phone, email, SMS and other communication channels.
  • Data-driven decision-maker who continuously refines strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Compensation for this role includes both cash and equity. The starting compensation for this position is typically $190K-245K OTE. Total compensation offered for this role will be dependent on the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and abilities as demonstrated in the interview and hiring process. Additionally, Boundless offers its U.S. full-time employees benefits.
