Job Summary:
This position will work within La-Z-Boy and across strategic channel partners to define marketing strategies that deliver on brand and financial objectives and compliment growth strategies across La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries network, Comfort Studios and alternative or other priority distribution channels. As the leader of the Channel Marketing team, there is responsibility for the delivery and execution of channel-specific marketing plans. This role is a key enabler of Century Vision strategies – Brand Comfort Strategy, Furniture Galleries Expansion and Channel Strategy. This role will contribute to overall La-Z-Boy brand marketing strategies and road map.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):
- Partner with the La-Z-Boy Retail and Residential sales leadership teams to ensure marketing initiatives are in alignment with overall business plans and financial goals. Serve as the marketing lead for all channel internal and external teams.
- Lead marketing strategy, annual integrated marketing planning and oversee execution for all priority selling channels including the Furniture Galleries network, Comfort Studios and alternatives channels, in alignment with the company’s overall channel strategy.
- Lead the team in the ongoing delivery of marketing plans, arming field teams and partners with playbooks, tools and information for easy and impactful execution.
- Collaborate and contribute to overall La-Z-Boy marketing strategies and national plans. Ensure connection of channel strategies to national strategies.
- Define go-to-market and investment strategy and oversee planning and execution for local marketing efforts to drive value for corporately owned Furniture Galleries across DMAs. Build complimentary playbooks and tools for dealer Furniture Galleries for aligned experience.
- Manage and develop marketing operations capabilities and partner ecosystem to fuel marketing impact across all channels including, but not limited to, marketing communications, financing programs, fulfillment system, marketing customization tools, customer review management and invoice processing.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
Lead a team that develops marketing programs that indirectly impact over $1 billion in sales across the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries network of 330+ stores, 2900 retail locations and alternative channels. Includes management all marketing strategies and initiatives that directly support and impact the overall success of the company-owned La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries network of stores that produce over $800 million in annual revenue.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with 10+ years relevant experience including 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience, or equivalent.
- Travel Required: up to 20%
