We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Care Navigation Strategy & Operations to lead critical initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, quality, and scalability of our Care Navigation team operations. The Director will drive strategic projects, and serve as a people leader for enablement functions including quality assurance, training and knowledge management. This role will partner closely with cross-functional leaders and frontline care teams to implement systems and processes that deliver consistent, high-quality care. This is a full-time role reporting to the Senior Director of Care Navigation.

We are only considering candidates based on the East Coast, with a strong preference for those located in the New York City area. 

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Strategic Project Management: Lead and execute complex, cross-functional initiatives that align with business goals, improve team operations, and optimize patient outcomes
  • Operational Excellence: Design and execute scalable workflows to support care delivery and long-term growth
  • Measurement Strategy: Define and track KPIs across the department to ensure high-quality service delivery 
  • Knowledge Management: Oversee the development, organization, and maintenance of operational knowledge, including care playbooks, policies and procedures
  • Training & Onboarding: Oversee new hire onboarding programs and ongoing learning initiatives for frontline and leadership staff
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee our service and clinical quality program, including quality assurance and systems improvement efforts
  • Data Modeling & Analysis: Leverage data to inform operational decisions, staffing models, capacity planning, and performance measurement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a strategic partner to Business Intelligence, Care Support, Product, Legal & Compliance, and Med Affairs to ensure operations are aligned with company-wide priorities
  • Frontline Engagement: Build strong, trusting relationships with frontline team members to ensure operational initiatives reflect real-world needs and lead to measurable impact

What we expect from you:

  • 8+ years in healthcare operations or care delivery strategy, with at least 3 years of direct people management experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop high-performing talent 
  • Strategic thinking and track record of managing cross-functional projects with a data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Exceptional operational execution skills with a focus on systems-thinking and process optimization
  • Proficiency in data modeling and analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization, including frontline healthcare teams
  • Ability to work from NYC HQ 2-3 days per week a plus, but not required
  • Clinical license and background in behavioral health a plus, but not required
  • MBA, MHA, or other relevant advanced degree is a plus, but not required

The target base salary range for this position is $164,900 - $214,450, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
