What You’ll Do:
We are seeking an innovative, agile, and technical delivery-oriented Director, Capacity Systems & Analytics to join our team, reporting to the VP of Capacity Planning. This is a key leadership role that builds the horizontal systems and processes across the Capacity Planning team, in collaboration with other cross-functional teams such as Supply Chain, DC Ops, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and the CIO organization to opportunistically look for ways to rapidly automate operational business processes and data pipelines to increase visibility and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will take ownership of strategizing and building roadmaps for continuous automation of workflows, as well as data reporting, insights, and dashboards. You will work closely with technical program managers to implement detailed timelines, track dependencies, and ensure seamless execution. This critical role requires solid technical expertise in Data Center Operations automation and cross-functional collaboration for large-scale, complex projects.
- Lead a team of technical staff, including SWEs, workflow automation engineers, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, to enable faster delivery and better management of capacity.
- Enable the data lake buildout with key operational subject areas to enable analytics, reporting, and self-service dashboards.
- Develop a vision, strategy, and roadmap with iterative deliveries that reduce toil and improve the scalability of the processes.
- Define, build, and execute comprehensive project plans for delivery of the process and data automation projects, ensuring timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Finance, DC operations, CIO, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment on data and process dependencies, deliverables, resource needs, and project timelines
- Serve as the single point of contact for strategic stakeholder updates, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent communications land with a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and escalate issues as needed to ensure resolution
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and effectiveness

Who You Are:
- Minimum 15+ years of IT experience leading highly visible, complex technical programs in Cloud and hypescaler environments.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of compute, storage, network, and infrastructure architecture
- The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands
- Strong familiarity with project management principles, critical path analysis, and dependency management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner
- Proven ability to automate operations to drive tangible impact on efficiencies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure or hardware deployment processes
- Certifications in Cloud Architecture, ML Eng, and DevOps
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $190,000-220,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
