Adobe is seeking a visionary leader to head its Campaign Capabilities Acceleration team—a cornerstone in scaling our marketing operations to achieve ambitious business goals. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to define Adobe’s future by driving the adoption and success of our B2B technology stack while ensuring operational excellence and innovation.

As a key leader, you will act as the “voice of marketing”, improve GTM orchestration, and champion Adobe technology adoption to support building a gold-standard B2B tech stack. This is a unique opportunity to shape Adobe’s marketing future and make a tangible impact on its growth trajectory and efficiencies.

As the Director, you will bridge global marketing teams, campaign operations, platform operations, product marketing, and product teams to align strategies, streamline workflows, and deliver innovative marketing technology solutions. .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a High-Performing Team:
    Empower a team of subject matter experts (SMEs) specializing in:

    • Data: RTCDP (Real-Time Customer Data Platform) & CJA (Customer Journey Analytics)

    • Campaigns & Process: Marketo & Workfront

    • Journeys: Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) B2B

  • Be the Voice of Marketing:
    Advocate for marketing by defining requirements, use cases, and value propositions for technology rollouts. Partner closely with Data & Tech teams to ensure solutions address real-world marketing needs.

  • Capability Design & Innovation:
    Define scalable, future-ready solutions that improve global marketing efforts. Develop roadmaps and success plans for technology application areas.

  • Champion Adobe-on-Adobe Adoption:
    Lead the adoption, and optimization of Adobe’s B2B tech stack to deliver performance improvements and drive customer engagement.

  • Pilot and Test New Solutions:
    Orchestrate proof of concepts (POCs), pilots, and testing to validate the value of automation and emerging functionalities.

  • Build a Feedback Loop:
    Partner with DX Product, Marketing, and Technology teams to provide actionable insights and influence the evolution of Adobe tools and platforms.

  • Act as an Internal Customer Success Team:
    Serve as a subject matter authority for marketers, ensuring they can leverage tools effectively to achieve their goals.

  • Scale and Optimize:
    Drive adoption and ensure scalability by serving as the critical integration point between marketing and data/tech teams.

  • Strategic Alignment:
    Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing technology strategies with overarching organizational goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrated Experience
    10+ years of leadership experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or related fields, with a consistent track record of implementing and scaling marketing technology in global, matrixed organizations.

  • Educational Background:
    BA/BS degree in a relevant field required; MBA or management consulting experience is a plus.

  • Technical Proficiency:
    Expertise in Adobe’s marketing tools (e.g., AEP, RTCDP, AJO B2B, Marketo, Workfront) and deep knowledge of B2B marketing technology ecosystems.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving:
    A big-picture thinker with the ability to take on challenges and implement scalable solutions.

  • Exceptional Communication & Influence:
    Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around shared goals.

  • Operational Leadership:
    Expertise in process development, program management, and operational planning.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making:
    Analytical approach with a passion for using data to recommend decisions and optimize processes.

  • Adaptability and Resilience:
    Comfort navigating ambiguity, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $157,300 -- $301,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
