Job Description
The Business Process & Operations role will work directly with Visa’s SVP, Growth Product and Partnerships (GPP) on all internal and external initiatives and collaborate across the Growth Products and Partnerships Leadership Team as well as regionally. This role will oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and assist in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation driving the team towards success against Visa’s strategic imperatives
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate strategic business decisions around revenue generation, expense control, business optimization, investments, and resource allocation.
· In close partnership with key business partners, lead quarterly business reviews, off-site, OKR planning, and regular OKR review. Proactively review all progress reports, updates, dashboards and highlighting areas that require attention
· Develop and maintain established internal communications architecture such as leadership team mtgs, town halls, and other means to empower, align, and motivate
· Lead and coordinate the creation of materials for key cadences such as Board meetings, All-staffs, CEO updates, etc., Working with our regional partners to collect any key developments and highlights in preparation for meetings and discussions and prioritizing business topics
· Developing relationships and act as a strategic point of contact between SVP, GPP and core stakeholders (e.g., Consumer, Tech, Finance, HR, Marketing, and many other business partners internally/externally)
· Organize and prioritize critical information, issues, and data to facilitate efficient decision-making
· Manage specific deliverables, ensuring timely completion - these may range from ensuring that project actions are acted upon to addressing time-sensitive requests from senior executives
· Improve processes by leading continuous change management, create automated processes and controls to increase team productivity.
· Proactively identify opportunities for employee recognition and help drive team engagement by providing visibility to LT of talent across the organization.
· Work in partnership with Finance and HR to establish formal approach to business planning including hiring, workforce/location planning, budget management, KPI monitoring, operational and process improvements.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/
MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
•Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
•Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
Preferred qualifications:
•12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years
of work experience with a PhD
•Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management
•Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive
presence. Must be disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the
maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple levels and
organizations internal and external to Visa.
•Strategic and analytic skills, capable of clearly communicating a vision to
his/her team, the Company and our clients. Demonstrated success in
executing strategies, across cross-functional global teams.
•Cultivates deep partnerships with current and potential internal/external
partners. Understands the payments industry.
•Exhibit relevant and consistent leadership behaviors in team management,
client communications and internal interactions with teams, peers and senior
management. Works effectively across a global matrix organization.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong customer-centric mindset
•Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at
coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at
critical junctures appropriately
•Proven project management experience and knowledge of data analysis,
budget management, workforce planning
•Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences
in an approachable way
•Visa and financial/payment industry knowledge a plus
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
