Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for digital marketing? Gen3 Marketing is looking for a Business Development Director to drive new business growth and upsells. This role is primarily focused on acquiring new clients, with a smaller portion dedicated to expanding existing accounts, selling solutions across Affiliate Marketing, Creator/Influencer Marketing, Paid Media, Performance PR, and SEO.
The Work:

  • Drive new client acquisition within Enterprise and Core customer segments.
  • Close inbound leads efficiently and develop outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers at top retailers, financial services brands, and referral partners.
  • Lead the sales process from discovery to close, delivering compelling proposals and consultative solutions.
  • Maintain client relationships for the first 12 months to drive upsell opportunities.
  • Represent Gen3 Marketing at industry events and tradeshows.
  • Accurately track all sales activities in HubSpot.


What You Bring:

  • Proven success in affiliate marketing, digital media, or traditional media sales.
  • Experience selling into complex organizations with a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
  • Strong pipeline development skills through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • A hunter mentality—thriving in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Excellent sales and communication skills, including delivering persuasive presentations and proposals.
  • Familiarity with Sandler, Challenger, or similar sales methodologies is a plus.
