As Director, Brand and Creative Production you’ll lead the charge in shaping how Navan’s brand is experienced across the globe. From ideation to execution, you will guide creative efforts that resonate with our audiences, elevate our brand, and support business growth. You’ll manage a team of world-class creatives and collaborate cross-functionally to craft campaigns and content that inspire and engage. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the brand’s identity, messaging, and creative output are cohesive, innovative, and aligned with the company’s overarching goals.
We are looking for a leader with not only exceptional design and leadership skills but also a sharp ability to craft compelling copy that connects with diverse audiences. This role requires both strategic brand management and creative oversight, requiring a blend of strong conceptual thinking, design leadership, and deep brand-building expertise. What You’ll Do
- Define the Vision: Establish and champion Navan’s creative and copywriting vision, ensuring brand consistency and innovation across all channels.
- Lead the Team: Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and content creators, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Master the Message: Craft and oversee all brand messaging, from high-level campaigns to day-to-day copy across web, email, social, and more.
- Elevate the Brand: Evolve and maintain a cohesive brand identity and tone of voice that drives recognition and trust across diverse audiences.
- Craft Campaigns: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns that drive engagement and business results.
- Set Standards: Implement and uphold best practices for creative and copy processes, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with strategic objectives.
- Measure Impact: Track the performance of creative and messaging initiatives and iterate to maximize results.
- Stay Ahead: Keep a pulse on industry trends, audience insights, and emerging technologies to inform and inspire your work.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years in a creative leadership role with strong brand expertise, preferably in the B2B SaaS, technology, or travel industry.
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing exceptional creative work and high-impact copy across multiple media, from branding to digital campaigns.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build and lead high-performing creative and content teams as well as experience hiring and managing external agencies and contractors
- Skills: Expertise in brand fundamentals, design, storytelling, and copywriting, with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Voice Expertise: Mastery of brand tone of voice, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Collaboration: Strong cross-functional partnership skills to align creative efforts with business goals.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Data-driven: Experience using brand tracking tools, market research, and consumer insights to measure brand performance and make data-driven decisions.Communication: Exceptional presentation skills to pitch ideas, influence stakeholders, and articulate the impact of creative and messaging efforts.
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
