Gestion de personnel et leadership

  • Atteindre et dépasser les quotas de vente de la succursale.
  • S’assurer que les conseillers aux ventes utilisent les méthodes proposées dans les manuels de formation et qu’ils respectent les politiques et les procédures de l’entreprise.
  • Donner les instructions initiales et de façon continue aux conseillers aux ventes pour répondre aux besoins des clients et surpasser leurs attentes.
  • Agir comme première référence pour les conseillers aux ventes en ce qui concerne les procédures après le décès, la prospection, la connaissance des produits, les représentations de ventes, les compétences de conclusion de ventes, les prix, les termes, la documentation, les questions sur les techniques de vente, le respect de la réglementation et le service à la clientèle.

Partage du territoire

  • Développer des programmes de marketing qui présentent un portrait favorable : la géographie, les données démographiques, les communautés ethniques ou religieuses.
  • Analyser les prix des compétiteurs, rester à l’affût.
  • Planifier des événements dans la communauté, y participer, dans le but de faire de la prospection et de faire connaître la succursale.

Gestion des dépenses

  • Réviser les contrats de préarrangements ou de cimetière pour garantir le respect des règles HMIS, provinciales et fédérales.
  • Approuver les rabais offerts aux clients.
  • Faire des rapports qui démontrent le respect des règles aux autorités financières.

Soutien administratif

  • Entretenir le matériel marketing, les manuels de formation, l’équipement de ventes et autres fournitures requises pour les ventes.
  • S’assurer que les programmes de ventes, les récompenses, les primes et les présentations de ventes sont inscrits au budget, approuvés et conformes aux politiques de l’entreprise.
  • Assurer que les salles de ventes et les bureaux sont propres et entretenus pour garder une atmosphère professionnelle pour les conseillers des ventes et le public.

Conformité

  • S’assurer que tous les conseillers aux ventes respectent le Code de conduite et qu’ils obtiennent les permis nécessaires.
  • S’assurer que les pratiques de ventes sont conformes à la régulation provinciale et fédérale.

Exigences MINIMALES

Études

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent
  • Baccalauréat, de préférence

Expérience

  • Expérience de vente non requise
  • Expérience comme conseiller ou conseillère aux ventes ou superviseur ou superviseuse, de préférence
  • Expérience en présentation, en formation et en conseil aux ventes, un atout

Permis

  • Permis de conduire issu par la province valide et un bon dossier de conducteur
  • Permis d’assurances lorsque la loi de la province l’exige et comme prescrit par chaque conseil d’État

Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes

  • Maîtrise de l’informatique en environnement Windows et de la suite MS Office
  • Connaissances de systèmes de gestion de la relation client (CRM), un atout
  • Capacité à garder la confidentialité
  • Capacité à travailler au-delà des heures de travail régulières, au besoin, pour répondre aux demandes des clients
  • Capacité à déterminer des objectifs stimulants pour les employés

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Staff Management and Leadership

  • Meet and exceed established location sales quotas
  • Ensure that Sales Counselors utilize methods as set forth in training manuals while observing Company policies and procedures
  • Provide initial and ongoing sales instruction to ensure that all Sales Counselors meet or exceed the needs of the customers
  • Manage Sales Counselors acting as their primary reference regarding the aftercare process, prospecting, product knowledge, sales presentations, closing skills, prices, terms, paperwork, sales guideline questions, compliance issues, and delivery of customer service

Market Share

  • Develop marketing programs that compliment the geography, demographics, ethnicity, or religions of the community 
  • Analyze and be aware of competitor pricing
  • Plan and participate in community events designed to develop prospects and heighten awareness of the location

Expense Management

  • Review all pre-need contracts and at-need cemetery contracts to ensure compliance with HMIS, state/provincial and or federal laws
  • Approve all discounts offered to customers
  • Prepare reports that demonstrate compliance with financial controls

Operations Support

  • Maintain all marketing materials, training manuals, sales equipment and other sales supplies
  • Ensure that sales programs, incentives and awards, and sales presentations are budgeted, approved and conform to Company policies
  • Maintain all sales rooms and offices in a clean and orderly fashion to provide a professional atmosphere for Sales Counselors and the public

Compliance

  • Ensure that all sales counselors follow the Code of Conduct and obtain proper licensure
  • Ensure compliance of sales practices with federal, state/provincial and local regulations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • High school or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Sales experience not required
  • Sales Counselor and sales supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience presenting, training, coaching and motivating salespeople and sales forces a plus

Licenses

  • Valid state/province driver’s license with good driving record
  • Insurance license as required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Windows-based PC environment and MS office applications
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management systems a plus
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work beyond standard business hours when necessary to service customers
  • Ability to set goals for employees that are challenging but achievable

Salary

  • $60,000 / year + commission, total compensation discussed in interview
