As a Digitalization Engineer, you will analyze and optimize company processes, customize tools using various programming languages, and collaborate with multiple departments to improve business processes. You will support technical expertise across teams and contribute to projects while maintaining a structured, quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As a Technical Software and Tools member, you will be asked to:

  • deep learning, understand and map the main processes currently in place in the company.
  • Develop a result-oriented view, resulting in process proposal for improvement and optimization.
  • Customization of the tools using different programming languages
  • Interface between several department for any-software related issue/request
  • Promote team culture and improvement in business processes.
  • Finalization of specific activities, within monthly reporting process, according to internally agreed due dates.
  • Participate to company and group projects together with colleagues from different company functions.
  • Support other department activities, guarantee technical expertise.
  • LEAN principles – continuous improvement

Tools currently maintained:

  • SAP
  • Siemens PLM
  • Sequel server/ MSAccess/ MSExcel database
  • TESEO - Traceability system
  • Several Microsoft Power App Applications

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Excellent degree with a technical or scientific focus (e.g. physics, mathematics, data science, computer engineering, etc.)
  • You have experience in working with relational databases (especially SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript), have a very good technical understanding and programming experience (e.g. Python) and ideally some experience with machine learning models and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • You enjoy working in a data-driven way and recognizing patterns and underlying drivers for greater customer benefit based on analytical models
  • High level of initiative and ability to familiarize yourself with complex data models, products, machines and processes, question them and develop improvement approaches
  • You work in a structured and precise manner, pay attention to detail, have a strong awareness of quality and the ambition to establish the best product solutions and the best user experience for our customers
  • Willingness to travel at customer sites
