The Impact of a Digital Sales Executive, Enterprise (Inside Sales) at Coupa:


This Inside Sales role focuses on driving new business by identifying and engaging high-level decision-makers within enterprise organizations. Responsibilities include outbound prospecting, lead generation, and working closely with the field sales team to build and convert pipeline opportunities. The position requires managing deals through the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing, while providing accurate forecasts to leadership. The role also involves demonstrating Coupa’s product value, hosting product demos, attending customer events, and maintaining strong data quality. Success is measured by meeting sales targets, opportunity conversion rates, and pipeline growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Accessing C-Level, Director level contacts within new business accounts and target high level buying prospects within the Enterprise software space
  • Lead generation via targeted outbound account prospection and calling on independently developed account lists
  • Partner with field sales force to implement sales & pipeline build strategies
  • Work deals through all stages of the sales cycle to drive new revenue business
  • Provide accurate forecasts to the sales organization and executive management
  • Meet monthly and quarterly new meeting, lead qualification, opportunity conversion and closed won objectives
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Coupa’s product line and value proposition
  • Host product demonstrations and guided tours for customers and prospects
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of Coupa’s sales processes and product and service value propositions
  • Customer event attendance
  • Independent orchestration of opportunity creation all the way thorough closing deals
  • Work directly with AEs to build untapped territory accounts and generate pipeline
  • Data quality support

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding lead generation and sales objectives
  • 2+ years inside sales/closing experience in the SaaS industry at the Enterprise level
  • Experience calling into accounts at C level
  • Proven track record with new account development / new business
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
  • Self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM system required
  • Discipline to maintain high call volumes
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:


•Based in California: Base range of $70,00 - 85,000 + eligibility for commission with an estimated pay mix of 58/42


The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
