This is a remote Sales opportunity for candidates who currently reside in the Greater Portland area.

The Digital Sales Consultant (DSC) is a subject matter expert, working to better understand the clients’ needs through discovery and showcasing technical knowledge to sell Rent. bundled marketing solutions to new and existing clients. This is a highly visible and impactful role, showcasing Rent. as the premier solution to fill vacancies in the multifamily industry.

The DSC will demonstrate the value of strategic digital marketing solutions and will be responsible for presenting digital marketing solution recommendations to clients as well as answering any technical questions they may have.  The Digital Sales Consultant will develop and manage client relationships through consultative and targeted selling approaches. 

This role will report to a District Sales Manager (DSM) and strategically partners with other Rent. sales facing departments to build internal relationships and work collaboratively with. The DSC is the subject matter expert with all Rent. digital solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and implement ongoing solution based sales approaches to increase monthly recurring revenue. 

  • Build opportunity pipelines and accurately report and forecast monthly revenue, property, and unit gains for assigned territory. 

  • Meet the required KPI’s with prospecting, meetings, and follow-up. 

  • Participate in pre- and post-client planning meetings to determine a strategic account plan to increase bundled solutions monthly recurring revenue.

  • Conduct in depth discovery meetings to fully understand client/property needs then build a strategic, bundled marketing package to meet client’s objectives.

  • Act as the subject matter expert in client meetings, offering insight, strategy, and supporting the close of revenue targets.

  • Act as a subject matter expert at industry and trade events, continuously building on Rent.’s visibility and credibility as the premier digital marketing solution.

  • Determine and build key internal and external relationships.

  • Position yourself as an industry leader while attending both client meetings and industry events.

What you bring:

  • Minimum five (5) years of successful and verifiable experience selling B2B SaaS and/or Digital Marketing Services.

  • Prior experience with sales methodologies 

  • In-depth expertise in showcasing technical and solution based knowledge of Google Search campaigns, social ad campaigns, retargeting, reputation management, chat bots, virtual Leasing Center, marketplace listings, etc. 

  • Ability to successfully sell all Rent. digital solutions, primarily in person 

  • Initiative, drive, and self-motivation with a mentorship mindset. 

  • Exceptional communication skills across multiple channels of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong technical and data-driven selling knowledge for digital products (SaaS, digital marketing ad sales, performance marketing, etc.).

  • CRM proficient, ideally in Salesforce

  • Knows how to build and maintain key internal and external relationships.

  • Ability to position and sell the value of a bundled solution.

  • Highly resourceful and adept at problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage a complex sales cycle with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.

  • Command of data-based selling skills pertaining to results generated through the Digital services being offered and how it will benefit the client by bundling our solutions.

  • Actively and accurately manage all sales, follow-ups, and client meeting activities in Salesforce weekly.

  • Ability to adapt to constant changes, learn quickly, and retain in-depth product knowledge.

  • Multi-family industry experience preferred

Estimated total on target earnings range is between $135,000-$150,000 annually, comprised of annual salary between $65,000- $75,000 per year and additional uncapped incentive compensation. Range is subject to change. Rent. takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, market finances, operational business needs, and peer compensation.
