About the role:

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and charismatic individual to be part of the product management team for Gartner Peer Insights (GPI). GPI’s mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. We are looking for a Digital Product Manager for our Validation and Moderation product. You will work directly with senior stakeholders and be the natural extension of operations horsepower. You will have the opportunity to work on several business initiatives and be empowered to lead problem solving leading to continuous improvement. If you have strong business acumen, ability to work with cross-functional teams and enjoy working in a fast-paced lean startup team at an established brand, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do:

  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative products through a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods. You should also be frequently referring to best practices and latest techniques in product management around discovery and scaling.

  • You should be curious to uncover user needs through exploratory and focused conversations with technology providers and their teams (e.g. product marketers, product managers etc.)

  • You should also be extensively relying on data driven insights to inform which features to prioritize for development and to also size the opportunity landscape.

  • You will implement a “lean” approach to product development where you along with your design and engineering team would strive for early validation of learnings and continuously iterate to achieve the goals.

  • Build consensus amongst product leaders, engineering, and business on prioritizing the product roadmap based on client and business value.

  • Monitor the competitive and technological landscape and its implications for the product.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA (or equivalent) will be a plus

  • At least 3-5 years work experience (including working as a digital product manager)

  • Have exposure to or are curious about technology / SaaS providers across categories and different challenges associated with product development and marketing

  • Comfortable with understanding technical aspects of a product development process and communicating with engineering teams on trade-offs vs. implications.

  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills; Are a self-starter who can anticipate business needs and fulfill them proactively

  • Experienced, mature, and have ability to prioritize and manage workload in order to meet deadlines, proficient in multitasking

  • Independent and curious, you set your own targets, ask for help when you need it and are always looking to learn something new.

  • A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do what it takes to get things done.

  • Ability to excel in a constantly changing and rapidly growing workplace
