The Claims IT team within P&C IT Services is seeking a detail-oriented Product Intern to join the team for the summer 2025.
The intern will work closely with a Product Manager who works with a team developing first notice of loss applications for the insurance industry. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product management and the insurance technology sector.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Manager in the development and enhancement of first notice of loss applications.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing.
- Participate in product planning and strategy sessions.
- Help create and maintain product documentation and user guides.
- Support the team in tracking and analyzing product performance metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of product presentations and reports.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Create user stories.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of product management principles.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Education:
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
- Graduating in 2027
