The Role

Fisher & Paykel is one of New Zealand’s best-known brands, a global company with a strong heritage and ambitious plans. Our New Zealand origins, curious nature and passion to develop luxury products designed around people are core elements that make us unique.

Driven by our brand values of being real, generous, curious and sustainably minded, as a team we take a collaborative approach, have a culture where ideas are heard, and are united in our leading goal to be the world's most human-centred, #1 premium appliance brand.

The Opportunity:

As the Digital Performance Manager, you will develop and maximise the effectiveness of our digital performance marketing activity across our global portfolio, ensuring that strategic goals are operationalised effectively with the right technology, marketing and data insights. You will lead the digital performance team across SEM and Programmatic, ensuring alignment with business objectives through the development of global media frameworks and measurement. You will also provide attribution of media performance to marketing and business objectives.

This role works cross-functionally and collaboratively within our Global Marketing team while closely supporting both global functions and in-market marketing teams to develop strategic and tangible delivery plans for core digital channels. These plans will be aligned with wider marketing objectives, including brand awareness, audience engagement, conversion, and lead generation.

This is where you come in:

You’ll lead a team of SEM and Programmatic specialists, provide support for Paid Social, optimising digital campaigns across platforms. Developing retargeting frameworks, maximising campaign reach, managing the marketing tech stack, leading AI and automation projects, and creating custom UTM builders are part of the role.

It's about aligning performance reporting with business needs, making recommendations and decisions based on a mix of data and business context, and building long-term marketing attribution models. Managing partnerships with key platforms such as Google and Meta and ensuring data privacy compliance are also crucial aspects.

So, who are you?

You're an experienced digital performance leader who excels at blending data, strategy, and execution.

You've successfully led and developed the capability of small high-performing teams, worked collaboratively across functions, and translating business goals into effective channel strategies.

You're well-versed in campaign optimisation and confident presenting results to senior stakeholders.

Your expertise spans Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads/SA360, and Google Tag Manager, with bonus points if you have skills in SQL or Looker. You’re adept at maximizing PPC, Display, and Social channels, and can create frameworks for attribution, retargeting, and customer journey optimization. With experience in customer-facing e-commerce, ideally across multiple markets, you have a proven track record of achieving ambitious traffic, conversion, and revenue targets.

With a high level of capability in digital marketing or eCommerce performance, you bring advanced proficiency in GA4, Google Ads, GTM, and paid media strategy (PPC, Display, Social). You’ve developed SEO strategies, built retargeting frameworks, and created data-driven reporting dashboards. You're skilled in CRM systems, audience segmentation, and understand how content drives engagement and conversion. Fluent in using data for decision-making, you know how to build reports, understand attribution, and convert insights into action. You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital landscape, balancing diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.

A tertiary qualification in in Marketing, Commerce, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines is preferred.

What we offer

We can give you the rare opportunity to move into a large, complex global organisation, part of the global Haier parent company and headquartered with F&P in NZ, where you will gain wide exposure across the business. This role has diverse and exciting challenges and the chance to continually learn and develop.

Along with a competitive salary, flexible working, ongoing development, as a valued member of our team you’ll enjoy generous discounts on Fisher & Paykel and Haier products, life & disability insurance, discounted medical cover, access to our leading Whanau/Family leave offering, our subsidised staff café, and free car parking when you are on-site.

All this, coupled with great leadership and backed by a world leading heritage brand that is consistently ranked as one of New Zealand’s most Trusted Brands… year after year.
