Just Right Reader is a fast-growing curriculum company dedicated to advancing literacy and joyful reading experiences for students, teachers, and families. We provide customized, high-quality literacy resources and supplemental reading programs for Pre-K to 5th Grade students, focusing on foundational reading skills, family engagement, and science-based literacy instruction. Role Overview:
The Digital Marketing Director is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of Just Right Reader’s digital marketing efforts. This role combines creative, analytical, and managerial skills to develop and implement digital campaigns, optimize online presence, and drive measurable results and growth. The director will oversee a team of marketing professionals, collaborate across departments, and ensure the brand's online strategies align with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategy Development
    • Design and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
    • Identify and target key audiences through data-driven insights.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital technologies.
  2. Campaign Management
    • Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns across various channels (e.g., SEO, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing).
    • Analyze and report on campaign performance metrics to ensure ROI.
    • Manage budgets for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring cost-effective spending.
  3. Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of digital marketing professionals and content specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
    • Work collaboratively within the marketing team to ensure a holistic approach to the digital marketing strategy.
  4. Content and Branding
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality, engaging content for websites, blogs, social media, and more.
  5. Analytics and Reporting
    • Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website traffic, conversions, and identified KPIs.
    • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on digital marketing performance and insights.
    • Implement A/B testing and other methodologies to optimize campaigns.
  6. Partnerships and Collaboration
    • Work closely with product, sales, and other departments to align marketing efforts with broader company goals.
    • Build relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support digital initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, with a track record of managing successful campaigns.
    • Experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred.
  2. Skills
    • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.).
    • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
  3. Soft Skills
    • Ability to operate in a fast-paced start-up environment and pivot as necessary.
    • Adaptability to changing market trends.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
