The Digital Learning System Specialist is responsible for the functional and technical administration of learning solutions within the learning solutions organization. 

What will you be doing?

Digital Learning Platforms & Tools Service Delivery

  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) or other e-learning platforms, ensuring smooth user experience and accessibility.

  • Provide day to day help and support in the use of the Learning Solutions ensuring that ServiceNow calls are dealt with within appropriate levels of service.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for learners and educators using digital learning tools.

  • Work with 3rd Party Learning solutions system suppliers in the timely and effective resolution of technical issues.

  • Stay abreast of maintenance releases and feature enhancements of SABA/Cornerstone platform, as well as emerging trends in learning technology.

  • Assist in testing new releases and features as requested.

  • Help support Content Developers and participate in projects where required.

  • Set up learning plans, badges, certifications pathways and remediation in the system, as well as publish and test learning content on all major browsers and devices, support and assist in live learning events, i.e., webinars.

  • Maintain the NED database ensuring that it is updated with new business critical data as and when required.

  • Identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements to optimize the digital learning experience.

  • Staying updated on emerging digital tools and technologies to incorporate innovative approaches in the learning process.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Desirable but not essential Instructional design certification, or course/work participation equivalence

  • Professional fluency in English required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working for a global or regional company developing content in line with relevant learning systems platform using industry best methodologies and practices.

  • Working knowledge and experience of implementing and supporting HR IT cloud-based systems, data analytics and experience of integrating processes.

  • Experience in learning management technologies & tools

  • Experience managing content management systems.

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data integrations.

  • Working knowledge of SCORM standards

  • Evidenced ability to lead a number of projects and manage time and people effectively to deliver against deadlines.

  • Understanding of full production life cycles from design to evaluation (e.g., storyboards, asset management, etc.)

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and the ways global companies manage and share data to operate global HR processes/programs to meet business needs.

  • Experience in content development desirable

  • French, Italian, German, Spanish or Portuguese language capabilities would be desirable. 

Competences:

Learning Systems Expertise and Digitalisation skills: A background in learning and development practices and procedures. Ability to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, recognizing trends and develop recommendations based on analysis. Applies experience to resolve problems and decides on courses of action.

Analytical skills: Detail oriented person able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyse and interpret written information, recognizing trends and develop recommendations based on analysis.

Communication and Collaboration – Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.  Comfortable working as part of a remote team

Managing Stakeholder Relationships – Global minded and able to work with end users around the world. Ability to work effectively and establish positive relationships with managers, employees, colleagues within the organisation, in a way that establishes confidence, credibility and trust.
