The Digital Finance Manager, Planning System will function as a link between IT and BPA teams. The associate will need to understand the business requirements and to support the local teams while in Mid-year forecast, Targets and implementing new projects. Further the associate needs to exhibit high levels of people agility and excellent communication skills, as this associate will be required to interact with key Sandoz Finance stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Understand the Country, Region and Global planning processes and drive new initiatives in close collaboration with BPA community and IT
- Actively contribute to system integration across markets globally and increase their adoption
- Ability to map country’s existing planning process in BPC, identify gaps if any and work towards streamlining the process in BPC
- Ability to support the budgeting, planning and forecasting cycles, managing user queries and support business users in day-to-day activities related to business planning
- Define Best practices in terms of planning process and reporting (analytics) Manage enhancements, test new functionalities, identify key issues and suggest improvements
- Contribute towards streamlining and performance tuning of reports in BPC, Understand current reporting needs, create/enhance planning reports & input templates using EPM
- Support data reconciliation across different systems and perform root cause analysis Contribute to design, test and execution of calculation logics in order simplify and automate planning processes
- Setting up allocation rules and running the allocations Conduct online and classroom-training sessions, prepare and deliver effective presentations and create user guides and process documents
What you'll bring to the roles:
- 3+ years of relevant BPC/BI, extensive BPA/ FP&A experience in a corporate Finance set up is highly preferred.
- Experience in global functions desirable. Used to work in multi-location/multi-market environment
- Excellent analytical and strategic skills and ability to collaborate with the stakeholders.
- Experience with interfacing effectively with parent and global counterparts.
- In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business information systems and structure, including SHAPE, Data Warehouse, and finance system is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Strong IT skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
