CLUB CREATIVE DESIGNER I POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Bass Pro CLUB design team’s creative requests. These vary from heavy print projects like trade-show pieces and catalog pages, to quick-turnaround web assets such as banners and images. This position works in both print and digital formats. Working closely with other teams, you utilize your keen design eye to see the various pieces that reach across multiple platforms and help assure that branding is consistent and designs all work together.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist in the creation of successful layouts for print pieces such as catalog pages, mailers, inserts, and retail signage

Work on multiple design projects across various teams in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines, design specifications and brand requirements

Champion and assure the consistency of all aspects of the Bass Pro Shops brand standards

Preparation of necessary mock-ups/proofs for creative reviews

Work with other designers in experimenting with innovative layouts and stylized treatments of typography

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

Strong communication (written and verbal)

In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD), and Figma.

Meticulous and detail oriented

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Work simultaneously on various projects types and sizes while communicating with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Able to easily design within the established brand style guides

Able to receive and/or provide constructive criticism to/from peers and clients in a positive manner and apply it effectively to reach the desired goal

Understanding of conservation, wildlife, and the outdoors

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Up to 10% for training, partner collaboration, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Regular computer work and sitting

Occasional walking, standing, and lifting
