Summary:
The Digital Account Strategist is a key client-facing role focused on optimizing client accounts and digital advertising campaigns through in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations. This role ensures seamless execution of digital strategies while providing superior client service and support. Digital Account Strategists play a vital role in the company's overall success.
What you will do:
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Client & Adtaxi fulfillment teams and manage the day-to-day execution of and oversight of ongoing digital advertising accounts and campaigns to meet client's digital marketing objectives
- Drive optimization strategies across our digital product portfolio, monitoring effectiveness and making recommendations for revenue growth.
- Analyze and present digital campaign reports and account performance data; ability to synthesize metrics and related data into a story that can be understood by varying levels of digital acumen
- Analyze and present campaign reports and performance data in an easily understandable format.
- Develop and deliver client-focused communications on campaign performance, encompassing effectiveness, targeting, and strategy, while actively monitoring campaigns to identify market share growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive strategy, planning, and execution of client campaigns.
- Recommend overall campaign strategy and ongoing modifications for optimal results, including, but not limited to, strategy changes and budget recommendations.
- Analyze client's current digital marketing efforts during pre-sales, assisting with sales pitches and initial campaign strategy.
- Cultivate positive professional relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
- Communicate thoroughly and accurately with all appropriate parties to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed within deadline
- Positively impact the team by regularly contributing to the constant improvement of our systems, processes, and tools
- Take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision
- Work closely with management on new initiatives and team projects as needed
What you will bring:
- 5+ year's minimum of paid digital media and analyzing and presenting data in an easy-to-interpret format
- Proficiency in site research tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture, Comscore, Kantar, Claritas, etc) and project management software (Salesforce, Monday, etc)
- Knowledge of digital products, platforms and related metrics (Programmatic, Search, Social, etc.)
- Ability to generate insights, business correspondence, and presentations through use of Microsoft Office and G Suite Products. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets experience highly preferred
- Ability to provide excellent sales, service and marketing support, critical to our digital competitive position
- Excellent presentation and client communication skills, consultative selling skills
- Strong organization and project management skills, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and articulate messaging and results to various audiences
- Takes initiative to collaborate with the team to contribute to revenue retention and growth, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
- High attention to detail, with the ability to organize, plan, prioritize and re-prioritize workload effectively
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
This is a fully remote role but you must be located in CA.
The annual salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 + a bonus incentive plan. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, MediaNews Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).
