FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX10 Phoenix is looking to hire an experienced media/digital salesperson to generate revenue selling Fox’s OTT platform (FLX), FOX10 streaming, and digital advertising campaigns alongside FOX’s broadcast television sales teams.   

What you bring to the table: 

  • Experience with daily high-volume sales activity in a B2B sales environment.

  • A sales hunter mentality - you love the thrill of the hunt and closing new business!

  • Source new sales opportunities through a combination of identifying and researching potential accounts, soliciting new business via outbound communication as well as inbound lead follow-up

  • Excels with outside selling - presenting live in person or via zoom.

  • Managed a book of business and understand how to organize/plan your day.

  • Favor metrics/data and thrive within results driven sales culture and have a track record to prove it!

  • You have experience in building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing presentations.

In addition to cultivating new business, you’ll track and manage multiple sales cycles.  As a product expert, you will participate in brainstorming, staff meetings, client meetings, researching and assisting in proposal development, campaign reporting.

Must have or be willing to obtain and drive reliable transportation and have a valid driver’s license. Local travel and varied hours required. Digital Video Advertising and/or Digital Agency/Digital Publisher experience preferred but not required. College degree preferred.  Familiarity with basic digital media technology is helpful but not required.  Excellent communication/presentation skills required along with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

The compensation for this position has a base salary of $126,269- $136,269 with the potential for additional sales bonus and commissions for a potential total package of up to $194,670.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $126,269.00-136,269.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $105,200.00-113,500.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
