Summary
This is a functional technology role created to drive the DevOps Continuous Integration (CI) Build capabilities for the client
Technical Requirements:
- Requires at least two years of experience managing services in Microsoft Azure.
- Requires at least three years with CI/CD deployment supporting Microsoft technologies. IIS, Team Foundation Server (TFS,VSTS), Octopus Deploy and Team City is preferred.
- Requires strong knowledge of Docker containerization.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/2016, ActiveDirectory, IIS and Linux.
- Solid understanding of troubleshooting connectivity to Oracle and MSSQL databases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Identify opportunity to automate scripts for software builds and deployments.
- Develops system standards and procedures.
- Troubleshoots, identifies and solves technical problems.
- Deploys new application software and performs application upgrades following established procedures.
- Installs application patches following established procedures.
- Interfaces with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Monitors and manages application availability, capacity, and performance based on established performance metrics.
- Evaluates new third party products and makes recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Hands-on experience working as a DevOps/Build/Deployment and Engineering & Operations skills
