Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct and ongoing leadership for a large team, including managers and senior technologists designing, developing, and sustaining products, enhancements, and updates.
- Oversees the delivery of multiple ongoing projects from conception to deployment.
- Defines project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project risks, and ensures successful project delivery while adhering to quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Stays abreast of the latest cloud technologies, algorithms, and methodologies advancements.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to the team and promotes innovation.
- Collaborates closely with key stakeholders, including senior management, business leaders, and domain experts, to understand their needs and translate them into solutions. Communicates effectively and regularly updates project progress, outcomes, and strategic insights.
- Builds a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results.
- Advanced project management skills, including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study with a typically of 10+ years’ experience including 5 or more years of people management experience - Advanced Degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is strongly preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong expertise in developing and implementing cloud solutions across various domains and industries.
- Extensive experience managing and leading large teams, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work culture.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify business opportunities, formulate strategies, and execute projects effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
