Position Summary: As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust DevOps framework that supports continuous integration, deployment, and automation. You will oversee cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while optimizing workflows for efficiency. This role involves leading a team of DevOps engineers, collaborating with various stakeholders, and driving automation solutions to enhance operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, automation, and DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Azure & Microsoft Active Directory Management
o Maintain and optimize Azure Infrastructure, Azure Virtual Machines, and Active Directory integrations
o Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across the firm's cloud environment.
• Automation & Scalable Solutions
o Develop and maintain scalable automation solutions to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
o Identify opportunities to integrate legal tech solutions into the firm’s operations.
• AWS & Hybrid Cloud Exposure (Preferred but not required)
o Work with AWS services where needed and ensure a hybrid cloud approach is optimized.
• Vendor & MSP Management
o Act as the primary liaison for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and software vendors.
o Evaluate 3rd-party solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure SLAs are met.
• Team Leadership & Project Oversight
o Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers and IT specialists.
o Provide weekly updates on project progress, challenges, and timelines.
o Ensure the team meets delivery deadlines for cloud and automation projects.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
• Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure (Azure AD, Virtual Machines, Networking, IAM, Security Policies).
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management.
• Experience managing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external vendors.
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Desired Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Power Platform (Power Automate, Logic Apps, Power Apps) for the creation and maintenance of scalable automation solutions.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
• Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipeline management) Certification (if available).
• Exposure to AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Experience working in legal tech or professional services environments.
• ITIL knowledge or experience in incident management, service desk operations
Physical Requirements:
• Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.
• Stationary Position – Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
• Move or Traverse – This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc. May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
• Dexterity – constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.
• Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs.
• Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
• Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
