As the DevOps Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing the automation of infrastructure and processes. These individuals are proficient in concepts such as infrastructure-as-code, deployment orchestration and application tooling. There will be specialization in specific areas, such as processes, e.g. CI/CD, or specific platforms, e.g. Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud. These individuals should be well versed in modern agile delivery concepts such as Kanban, Scrum, etc.
DevOps Infrastructure Architect Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technology.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate and optimize infrastructure/code deployments
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement optimized solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend DevOps tools and technologies based on organizational needs.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and performance through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues, providing enhanced solutions.
- Continuously monitor system performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Lead training and workshops on DevOps best practices and toolsets for internal teams.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends and incorporate relevant innovations into the company’s processes.
DevOps Infrastructure Architect Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline or demonstrated experience in the field that equates to the same.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with DevOps tool sets such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub and Artifactory.
- In-depth understanding of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and associated instruments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Language Skills - Advanced knowledge of English, written and verbal (C1 - C2), intermediate knowledge of Polish (B1-B2).
