Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Micro-Services: Design, build, and deploy highly scalable, resilient, performant cloud micro-services
- DevOps Posture: Improve the Sponsor’s DevOps posture, automating repetitive tasks, and reducing manual intervention
- Improving User Experience: Improving the overall user experience, quality, and reliability of software products

Qualifications:
Required:
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years
- Cross-Platform Applications: Demonstrated hands-on experience with distributed cross-platform applications, orchestration, and security
- AWS Platform Services: Developing micro-services on AWS platform services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambdas, SNS, Secrets Manager, KMS, ECR, EKS or Kinesis
- Agile Software Development: Demonstrated experience working with Agile software development, using Jira or other tracking software
- DevOps Practices: Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices, such as Infrastructure as Code, and continuous integration and automated deployment
- Software Quality Assurance: Excellent knowledge and demonstrated experience in software quality process/assurance including automation testing, unit/integration testing, design/code review, code profiling and software CI/CD pipelines
- RESTful APIs: Minimum of 5 years of experience using RESTful APIs or software development in a cloud environment
- Advanced Product Knowledge: Demonstrated advanced product knowledge and demonstrated experience with Java and one of more scripting languages (e.g. Servlets, Hibernate, Spring, UI Frameworks, Web Services/REST, J2EE)
- NoSQL: Advanced product knowledge and demonstrated experience with NoSQL and/or file-based storage (MongoDB, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, etc.)
Desired:
- Backend or Full Stack: Experience as a backend or full stack software developer
- ElasticSearch and MongoDB: Experience with Elasticsearch & MongoDB is a plus
- Source Code Repository: Experience with source code and version repository
- Cloud Architecture: Deep technical understanding of Cloud architecture
- SonarQube: Experience configuring and maintaining SonarQube
- Java, Spring Framework, Gradle: Demonstrated experience with Java, Spring Framework, Gradle / Maven
- Kubernetes: Hands-on experience creating Kubernetes clusters for production environments
- Helm: Experience using Helm as package management for deploying microservices
- CNCF Technologies: Proficient with CNCF technologies such as Keycloak
- GitOps: Experience with GitOps based deployments using Argo is a plus
