DevOps Engineer

Job Description

• Build multi-data center architecture with hundreds of servers

• Quickly identify and resolve infrastructural problems related to the server stack

• Drive the success of our systems’ advancements, cooperating with the development, support and QA teams

• Design and implement the next generation of tools to be used to be implemented to assure stability, increase velocity, and enhance users’ experience by optimizing the performance stack

• Make sure that our performance services across the entire company are effective, seamless and easy to use

• Be a part of Wix’s innovative culture, which includes proposing, convincing and executing any activity that you find contributes to Wix’s success

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with live production systems 

• You have hands-on experience with Kubernetes as a cluster administrator.

• You have experience in Linux and are well-versed in networking fundamentals

• You’ve proven experience with AWS/GCP

• You have strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.)

• You’re familiar with scripting languages like Python and Bash

• You’ve experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

• You have strong communication and collaboration skills

• Advantage: You have experience or knowledge with CDN architecture, caching layers, varnish/nginx caching configuration.

Salary range is 4500-6000 Eur GROSS / month (Total compensation, including RSUs package)
