In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Establish and manage procedures related to deployment of informationsystems and processing services based on Kubernetes.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for data processing and analysis, including integration with the European Institution's DevOps platform.
- Support scientific users with the configuration and deployment of processingservices based on Kubernetes
- Support the team in charge of BDAP in deployment of Linux nodes on newhardware.
- Test deployment of processing environments in public cloud systems.
- Documentation of work (configurations, routines, scripts, etc) in the projectwiki and code repositories.
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Sound experience in Linux environments (RedHat/CommunityEnterprise Linux, Debian/Ubuntu), including bash and Pythonscripting, as well as networking.
Good knowledge of:
- System and service deployment with Foremanand Ansible
- Docker container environments and Kubernetes(K8s) orchestration.
- CI/CD automation tools.
- Good working knowledge of English
Desirable knowledge:
- Proxmox
- Service deployments in commercial clouds like AWS,Azure, etc. or clouds based on OpenStack
