The Role

A DevOps Engineer is an IT generalist who has a wide-ranging knowledge of both development and operations, including coding scripts, infrastructure management, system administration, automation and DevOps toolchains. Embedded into client application deployment lifecycle, DevOps Engineers have a strong understanding of common system architecture, provisioning, and administration, but must also understand the traditional developer toolset and practices such as using source control, giving and receiving code reviews, writing unit tests, and agile principles

Required Technical and Professional Experience
 

3 years of experience in the following requirements:

•Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem-solving skills

•Ansible automation
•Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
•Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues
•Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
•Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
•Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices

•Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web services
