We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team that designs and maintains a GitLab environment for an external customer. This environment is a central SCM platform with a few thousand active users. Our work involves administration, support, and development of integrations with the customer’s ecosystem. Our team operates globally across three main time zones, practicing the Follow-the-Sun model.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain the GitLab environment.
- Administer and manage GitLab configurations and CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide advanced support and develop integrations with the customer’s ecosystem.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability of the GitLab environment.
- Automate routine tasks using tools like Ansible.
- Participate in on-call duties as part of the Follow-the-Sun support model.
General Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in English (ability to express technical topics clearly and discuss various technical subjects).
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Availability for on-call duties.
AO Related Key Competencies:
- Strong experience with Linux.
- Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible).
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker).
DevOps Key Competencies:
- General SCM (Source Code Management) knowledge.
- Proficiency in Git.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Programming skills in Python (optional Java).
