Job Overview:

Working with colleagues in multiple geographic locations, the DevSecOps team designs, implements, maintains and supports cloud-based infrastructure and related CI/CD pipelines and tooling used to deliver our innovative products to our clients.

We have a strong focus on Kubernetes and a microservices architecture, as well as databases such as SQL Server, Elastic Search and Snowflake, and tools such as Terraform, Gitlab and Jenkins.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, maintenance and support of cloud-based infrastructure and environments to support our applications and workloads.

• Migrate infrastructure deployed on premises to the cloud.

• Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and tooling

• Working with developers to enable best use of CI/CD and cloud technology

• Automating deployment and release processes

• Ensuring the safety and security of systems against cybersecurity threats

• Investigate and resolve technical issues and perform root cause analysis

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

• 5 years of relevant work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Version control and good knowledge of Linux

• Good networking skills

• Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Jenkins and related technologies

• Scripting experience

• Working knowledge of databases and SQL, particularly PostgreSQL and SQL Server

• Development experience in Python or Go would be an asset

• Cloud operations experience, particularly with Azure (AWS knowledge would also be of benefit)

• Excellent organizational, communication, and technical database skills

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
