Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing robust and scalable solutions using advanced AWS services and container orchestration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate deployment and manage cloud resources.

Containerization and Orchestration

• Develop and maintain microservices architecture using containers.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on EKS (Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service).
• Leverage ECS (Elastic Container Service) for managing containerized applications.

Monitoring and Observability

• Set up and maintain monitoring systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Define and implement alerting mechanisms to ensure system reliability and performance.

Database Administration

• Work with SQL databases and ElasticSearch to ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes.
• Optimize database performance for cloud-based applications.

Automation and CI/CD

• Create and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support agile development cycles.
• Automate workflows, infrastructure provisioning, and code testing.

Collaboration and Best Practices

• Work closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and adopt best practices for configuration management, security, and cloud computing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven expertise in AWS services with Architect-level certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of ECS and containerized application development.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash or Python for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
