We are looking for passionate DevOps Engineer with a broad range of technical knowledge to join our Integrated Services team in Athens to work on DevOps Initiatives.
A Day in the Life of a DevOps Engineer at Qualco will include
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices and tools;
- Utilize Service Mesh tools, preferably Consul;
- Implement active-active and active-passive High availability deployments;
- Deploy Rolling, Canary, and Blue-Green deployment strategies in Kubernetes or other platforms;
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
- 3+ years of working experience in a similar position;
- Strong knowledge and experience with Azure Cloud;
- Experience with Apache Kafka, including cluster configuration and disaster recovery;
- Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools;
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes;
- Knowledge of Service Mesh tools, preferably Consul;
- Experience with active-active and active-passive High availability deployments;
- Understanding of Rolling, Canary, and Blue-Green deployment strategies in Kubernetes or other platforms would be considered as a plus;
- Ability to design and run scenarios for cost reporting based on infrastructure requirements;
- Experience with Multi-Cloud Connectivity;
- Familiarity with Cloud Cost Management, would be considered as a plus;
- Preferred experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), would be considered as a plus;
- Familiarity with Developer portals such as Kong or Backstage, and;
- Experience with ELK Stack.
