What you'll do
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be evaluating architecture choices on an ongoing basis, in anticipation of increased scale and ever-evolving technology to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.
You’ll also be:

Managing and running production and non-production cloud platforms with no downtime to customers or colleagues.

Establishing a DevOps practice that supports and enables engineers and the business.

Deploying scalable cloud-based services, such as AWS and Azure.
-
Responsible for automation and system provisioning, metrics, monitoring, scalability, and security.

Promoting what we do to the wider bank and technology industry.
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with strong public cloud knowledge who has built, managed, and scaled “always-on” cloud native systems. You will have in depth knowledge of using infrastructure as code (terraform) and continuous integration pipelines to create repeatable, secure and robust immutable environments in a regulated environment.
We’re also looking for:

Significant and demonstrable experience in AWS, Kubernetes, VPC, S3 and Argo-CD.

A strong knowledge of automated deployment pipelines using either GitLab or GitHub.

Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively engage with a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language.

Expertise in observability tooling such as cloud watch, Loki, Prometheus and Grafana.
