Job Purpose and Impact
The Manager I, Hosting job leads the execution of the tactical and strategic plans of the organization's infrastructure initiatives to sustain optimal performance, security and scalability. This job leads and guides the team responsible for moving hosting and infrastructure from on prem data centers to the multi-cloud solutions and by monitoring and maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing robust security measures. This job builds and maintains vendor relationships, fosters cross functional collaboration, oversees project management and resource allocation, and leads continuous improvement and innovation in technology operations.
Key Accountabilities
- STRATEGIC PLANNING: Leads developing & implementing strategic plans of IT infrastructure to support organizational goals, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Manages the IT infrastructure budget to ensure cost effective solutions and validates expenditures to align with financial goals.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Builds & maintains relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- SYSTEM MONITORING & MAINTENANCE: Oversees & guides continuous monitoring and maintenance of IT systems to guarantee optimal performance & availability.
- SECURITY & COMPLIANCE: Guides the implementation of security protocols to protect IT infrastructure from threats & maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
- 5+ years in application portfolio management; creating of product and application owners to fully understand and build platform hosting solutions.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft and Amazon cloud services; preferrable in transitioning workloads and applications.
- 3+ years in implementing and consolidating technical solutions into more consistent and modern platforms and uses.
