About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team working with a global technology leader in the telecommunications sector. You will play a key role in developing, automating, and maintaining deployment processes for complex infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment
- Automate infrastructure management using tools like Ansible and Puppet
- Ensure smooth operation and support of CI/CD flows
- Manage and optimize Linux-based environments with Docker
- Contribute to Open Source projects and integrate them into the development workflow
- Implement monitoring solutions such as CheckMK to enhance observability
- Work with Git, Gerrit, and GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Maintain a strong customer focus, ensuring reliable and efficient service delivery
Requirements
- Proficiency in scripting languages: Bash, Python, Ruby, Java, Groovy
- Hands-on experience with Git, Gerrit, GitHub for source code management
- Strong background in Linux administration and Docker
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment tools
- Knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, and CheckMK (or similar monitoring tools)
- Prior experience with Open Source contributions is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system optimization
