We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer II, in this role, you'll contribute to our core business operations by implementing DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD pipelines while working with modern cloud technologies. As a senior team member, you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior developers while collaborating with customers on cloud migration strategies. This position offers hands-on experience with Cloud Native application development and the chance to work with multiple cloud platforms in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The candidate performs the following specific assignments:
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions
- Lead cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure deployments
- Mentor junior developers in DevOps practices and cloud technologies
- Design and implement cloud-native applications
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code
- Implement security and compliance requirements in cloud environments
- Collaborate with customers on migration strategies
- Support multiple cloud platforms and hybrid cloud solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for production support
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 2-4 years of Linux administration experience
- 2-4 years of DevOps experience
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience Desired:
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms
- Background in agile development methodologies
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Background in microservices architecture
