Job Description

We are looking for a bright, talented DevOps Developer Team Lead to join a team of highly energized and professional engineers working on mission-critical systems in the red-hot cybersecurity industry. As the DevOps Development Team Leader, you will lead a team of highly skilled DevOps engineers focused on enhancing development flow productivity, building application infrastructures and tools, and addressing challenges linked to the exponential growth of engineering and application scale

As part of your role, you will be responsible for leading engineers that will design, implement, and deploy products and infrastructures which will directly increase our stability and quality, while reducing our time to market. In addition, you will lead and mentor a team of DevOps developers, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Recruit, Lead, mentor, and develop team members for excellence and personal growth
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of tools, services, SDKs, and libraries essential for our development teams, making sure they fit our existing platform, security policies, audit systems, and processes.
  • Enhance Developer Experience - Your leadership will focus on creating a seamless, simple, and scalable development environment.
  • Tackle Scalability Challenges - Lead efforts to design and maintain robust infrastructure capable of handling significant scalability challenges, ensuring system resilience and capability to support large-scale operations.
  • Take an active part in design reviews and be responsible for team skills and knowledge that are improving over time
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise DevOps Platforms and tools to boost R&D velocity, reduce lead time, and enhance product quality.
  • Facilitating troubleshooting of platform and service issues across various applications, domains, and platforms.
  • Ensure that the team is aligned with the company's goals and objectives

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience working as a Software, DevOps, or Infrastructure Developer
  • 3+ years of experience in a team lead or management role
  • Significant development experience with the following: Python, Groovy, or equivalent
  • Deep knowledge and experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Containers and Orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.)
  • Experience with CI/CD Tools and Configuration Management Systems (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
  • Experienced with building the full application release cycle (CI/CD).
  • Experience in the creation of highly automated Infrastructures - as code
  • Excellent design and analytical skills
  • Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Know your way around the open-source community
