Under supervision, works on various tasks of an engineering project. This includes activities such as: performing engineering analysis (e.g. competitive, failure modes and effects, cost, manufacturing technology, etc.), component design, specification verification testing, manufacturing implementation, and occasionally, field support. May also manage small projects from start to finish. Assists in proposing innovative product features.
Applies technical expertise within a single discipline (e.g. mechanical, electronics, software/firmware, materials science, optics, etc).
Builds working relationships both within the team and across the company.
