In this role, you have the flexibility to work remotely from any location in Germany, with a willingness to travel up to 30% to clients.
About you and the role
We are looking for Development Architect Billing and Payments (FS-CD) Public Cloud that will develop comprehensive and sustainable system landscapes. Your several years of experience with transformation of business in integrated IT architectures for entire business processes considering the specific requirements of the insurance industry helps you to deliver a high-quality service for our customers.
You play a crucial role when it comes to analyzing and designing IT architectures. Your responsibility goes from business process optimization to central handling of the implementation of customer specific solutions. You should be familiar with the core processes in the insurance industry and with methods and tools of business consulting and project management.
You will be responsible to drive innovation either internally or with the customer support to improve existing system technology and business models.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Lead internal Product Development and Innovation Projects
- Leading the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers to derive enterprise business, information, technical and solution architecture requirements
- Analysis of technology, industry, and market trends, and determining the potential impact of these on Billing and Payment space
- Design Product Co-Innovation strategies and proposals with customers
- Understanding, advocating, and supporting the FS-CD IT Strategy
- Project Management for Long-Term delivery and implementations
- Travel to Client Location up to 30%
Work experience & education
- Profound experience with Billing and Payments processes and Accounting processes in the insurance industry. A deep understanding of the value chain of a primary insurer is expected. Focus on collection and disbursement processes in the Property and Casualty, Life and Pensions and/or Health insurance.
- Profound experience with any Billing and Payments solutions (12 years or more) in a highly reputed consulting company or in an insurance company.
- Experience in software development of high volume processing cloud applications
- University degree in information technology, computer science or business administration
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture- Ability to manage complex initiatives with minimal oversight
- Experience in major system implementations / or upgrades for Insurance Companies including full life cycle implementations
- Experience in planning and managing Pre-Sales DEMO’s, PoC exercises and Innovation programs.
Skills
- Very good understanding of Business Processes in Property and Casualty, Life and Pensions and/or Health Insurance
- Technical and functional experience in SAP for Insurance FS-CD module or FI-CA
- Experience in leading/executing Cloud Development projects (Java/Kotlin, Kubernetes, Databases, Modern UI Frameworks (React or similar), Azure or AWS)
- Strong communication skills and strong presentation confidence
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
Nice to have
- Experience in SAP Cloud Development (BTP, Fiori/UI5, HANA DB, Backend Integration SAP HANA Public Cloud, ML/AI)
- Hands-on knowledge with multiple Billing and Payment systems
- Very strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a distinct willingness to learn
- Ability to be creative, flexible and adaptable to a changing work environment
