We seek a passionate and driven Developer Community & Experience Lead to cultivate a thriving community around Cognite Data Fusion. You will be the champion for our developers, ensuring they have a positive and productive experience at every touchpoint. This role requires a unique blend of technical understanding, community building, communication skills, and data analysis.

Areas of Responsibility

• Developer Experience: Advocate for developer needs and perspectives across Cognite. Collaborate with Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, and Content teams across Cognite to improve the developer experience across all touchpoints (APIs, SDKs, documentation, support).
• Ease of use: Gather feedback on the usability and intuitiveness of developer tools and documentation
• Onboarding experience: Assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding process for new developers
• Quick Start Guides
• Community Building: Develop and execute a comprehensive community-building strategy to attract, engage, and retain developers. Identify and nurture developer champions and advocates within the community. Build relationships with key influencers and thought leaders in the developer ecosystem.
• Content & Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to inform developers about product updates, events, and other relevant news
• Metrics & Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends, measure initiative effectiveness, and inform future strategies. Prepare regular reports on community health and developer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software developer with a strong understanding of developer needs and preferences
• Solid foundation in software development methodologies and tools
• Passion for working with developers and building thriving communities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, or a related field
• Bonus points for experience, in organizing and hosting online and offline events
