Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.

The Designer is responsible for drafting and maintaining single use systems within the Upstream and Fluid Management business unit by working closely with and supporting research, development and engineering team, manufacturing engineering, sales, quality, product management, supply chain and sourcing.

This position reports to the design engineering team manager and is part of the design engineering team located in Hoegaarden and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

-        Liaise with sales, customers and product management to review, improve and release customer and manufacturing drawings

-        Support within the team ERP set up activities

-        Create component and finished good designs in autocad system or configurator system to support innovating and sustaining project as designer

-        Liaise with manufacturing team to improve first time right of production documentation, reduce operator assembly error risks

-        Support investigations to resolve customer complaints and complete corrective and preventive actions

Who you are:

-        Fluent in English

-        Experience with AutoCAD, knowledge of drawing tool Solidworks or Inventor is a big plus

-        Have a first-time-right attitude with a focus on continuous improvement

-        We are also open to fresh school graduates

It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:

-        Dutch is a plus 

-        Technical background is an advantage

-        Having project management skills is a plus
